Reviews
Larry Schwartz
Bo Jenkins Razorback Road
"America's loss is Australia's gain" say the notes in this self funded album by Mentone based Jenkins, a share croppers son born in Bottleneck Arkansas. Like the great bluesman Albert King, he plays left handed , with the strings in reverse order; bass, at the bottom and treble at the top, twelve songs, bookended by Arkansas parts two and one (in that order), suggest Jenkins is a strong writer, with sparse backing by Peter Clifford and John Comiola (percussion) and Peter Bowman on Bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals, Jenkins has fired a broadside."

Hillbilly Goats and Luke O'Shea

Sunday 1st February 2026 | Pre $30 | Door $35 | Tickets Here

YEEHAW! Them Hillbilly Goats are hitchin’ up the wagon and rollin’ into town – and they’re bringin’ a boot-stompin’, washboard-slappin’, banjo-blazin’ hoedown that’ll blow the roof clean off the barn!

These here Goats ain’t no backyard pickers – they’re the 2022 Folk Band of the Year, 2020 Golden Fiddle winners, and multi-time Golden Guitar finalists. They’ve been tearin’ up festival stages and packin’ out venues all over this wide brown land for more than a decade, and they ain’t slowin’ down!

With double bass, fiddle, banjo, harmonica, tap shoes and a whole lotta heart, they bring the spirit of the Appalachian mountains straight to yer doorstep. Expect tales of moonshine, mischief, and mountain mayhem – all wrapped up in harmonies sweeter than grandma’s peach cobbler and rhythms that’ll make yer boots dance on their own.

The Goats don’t just play music – they throw a dang hillbilly party! So grab yer hat, wrangle up the young’uns, and git ready to get goatified!

If you like yer music wild, yer nights rowdy, and yer feet movin’ – this is one show y’all don’t wanna miss!

Luke O’Shea is a powerhouse of Australian music — a born entertainer with songs that hit straight to the heart. With 17 Golden Guitars, including Male Artist of the Year and two Independent Artist of the Year awards, Luke stands among the most celebrated and authentic voices in Australian country and roots music.

In 2025, he was honoured with the prestigious Galaxy of the Stars Award, recognising his outstanding contribution to Australian songwriting and performance. And it’s no surprise — Luke’s live shows are electric. Blending foot-stomping energy, heartfelt storytelling, and down-to-earth humour, he creates a connection that few artists can match.
